Currently
I am a second-year PhD student in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University specializing in Human Systems Engineering.
I study human factors and human computer-interaction. I am especially interested in designing, testing, and implementing user-focused systems to revolutionize worker safety, patient care, and everyday tasks.
I work in the Virtual & Augmented Reality Lab under the direction of Dr. Karen Chen.
Previously
I earned my bachelor's degree in 2024 from Rice University in Houston, Texas. I majored in Cognitive Sciences with a minor in Global Health Technologies. Here, I was first exposed to human factors through my coursework and further explored the field through research positions in multiple labs.
What’s Next?
I am hoping to pursue a career as a human factors engineer. Whether in tech or healthcare, I am passionate about making a difference in users’ experience with the products I work on. I am interested in learning about internship opportunities in related spaces!
